1. My parents 60th Wedding Anniversary
2. I don't have the internet at home - only at work & at my parents house
3. My niece's wedding was on December 20th
4. Christmas
5. Started making jewelry as a part-time job & trying to sell it
6. Having a Post-Wedding Party for local friends & relatives who couldn't make it to the wedding
But, honestly, there has been plenty of time in the last few months where I could have posted. My apologies...and...My thanks to Joseph who inspired me to get busy and make an entry.
Here are some pictures to show you what I've been doing...
This is Mom & Dad's wedding picture...September 25, 1948
This me & my cat Morgan in front of a beautiful Maple tree at our Church. My dad took this picture of us this past November. While I don't like pictures of myself, I am happy about the 65lbs I've lost in the past 11 months!
This is my brother Paul, my niece Hannah, her new husband Paul Daniel & and my sister-in-law Kristi at the wedding. They met at Asbury College in Wilmore, KY...and graduated this past spring. After their honeymoon in Florida they will be teaching in South Korea for 6 months. Paul Daniel was born & raised in South Korea where his parents are Missionaries.
The lady on the right is my niece Elisabeth. She just returned from 3 years in Tanzania where she was a Missionary. The Family is so proud of her and so very happy she was able to be home for the wedding. The lady on the left is Brooke...a nephews girlfriend...she's wonderful - we love her!
So, that catches you up on me...I'll try to do better and keep this site updated. Laura

The photos of your dad and mom 60 years back is amazing. They look charming and stylish. I was one year old at that time. Imagine how time flies. Now they look very cute. God bless them and give a long healthy, happy life.
You look very good and it is incredible that you could lose 65 lbs in 11 months. Excellent! I admire your will power. I remember the saying:WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY. The maple tree in the back ground is alluring.
